Fire at Blowers Cafe

I am sad to inform all of you that there was a major fire at the downtown business of the Blowers Cafe on Wed. Dec. 10, 2003. The Blowers Cafe was a Restaurant/Antique store on Main St. in Deckerville. Blowers Cafe was one of the historical buildings in the Blower Block in the Village. More information on the Blower Block. The owners of Blowers Cafe are Robert and Elaine Phillips. Robert and Elaine are very active in our community and we all want to say how sorry we are for there lose. The Deckerville Fire Dept. called on Carsonville, Port Sanilac, Applegate, Sandusky, Minden City, Argyle, Marlette, and Croswell to help them fight the fire.
