11:00 - 11:45 - Mrs. Claus reads & leads sing-a-long at TLC Used Books/Blower Antiques

 

11:45 - 12:15 - DHS Band plays at 4 Corners

 

Noon - Santa arrives on a fire engine, lights the Christmas tree, and passes out candy (donated by the

Village of Deckerville

 

12:30 - 3:00 - Santa will visit with the children, have their pictures taken, enjoy cookies (donated by

the Deckerville League of Women), & activities with them at TLC Used Books/Blower Antiques

 

12:30 - Drawing at Scott Long, CPA, stop by and register all week

 

2:00 - 4:00 - Deckerville Antique Appraisals with Denise Kelly at Community Center sponsored by Relay

for Life/American Cancer Society. Enjoy cookies, coffee, & punch (donated by Eastern Michigan Bank

 

4:45 - Announcement of the winners of the Home Decorating Contest, sponsored by the Deckerville

Community Development Corporation (DCDC) pick up your entry forms at Above and Beyond Tuxedo

Announcement of the winners of the Christmas Tree Decorating Contests at area businesses, with

some of them being decorated by elementary school classes and some by the businesses themselves.

There will be cans available for a penny a vote, sponsored by the Dickens of a Christmas Committee

Annoucement of the winner of the Snowman Decorating Contest at area businesses

 

4:00 - 6:00 - chili supper sponsored by TAGPI at the Community Center with homemade bread and cake

 

5:00 - 6:00  - Deckerville Angel Walk - starting at the Community center and ending at the 4 Corners

with a prayer service - Create your own luminaries in loving memory of a family member or friend

during the Christmas season, (sponsored by the Deckerville Community Senior Activity Center with

matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans) You can pick up your luminary bags at area

businesses to personalize them or do them up at the Community Center in the afternoon before the

walk.
